I was born in Placerville 83 years ago this month and of course have seen many changes. Now due to some serous health problems I’m considered a resident of “The Pines at Placerville.” I get very good care here but at times it does get lonely, especially this time of year. If it gets lonely for me imagine what it must be like for some residents that have no one to come visit or talk to. It was so nice that some local groups have come by to serenade us. I won’t name the groups out of fear that I may miss some, but they know who they are. I felt that this was probably the best way to say “Thank you all” for making our Christmas as wonderful as it was.
