Sherry Smith takes raise, retires

By November 12, 2010

EDITOR: I don’t want my name mentioned at all since as a teacher I could get into some big trouble. But since you featured the story of Sherry Smith being granted a 4 percent pay raise in August this year  it would be interesting to investigate why she took the pay raise in August, loves the district so much that she gave notice of her retirement last night at the board meeting, will use vacation time until December and then is retired in January.

It is interesting to note that the current board approved all this and implemented each step prior to a change in board members after the November elections.
