Sound familiar?

EDITOR:

There are eight levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state. The first is the most important, the last is the most significant.

1. Health care: Control health care and you control the people.
2. Poverty: Increase the poverty level as high as possible; poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.
3. Debt increase: Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes and this will produce more poverty.
4. Gun control: Remove the ability to defend themselves from the government. That way you are able to create a police state.
5. Welfare: Take control of every aspect of their lives (food, housing and income).
6. Education: Take control of what people read and listen to; take control of what children learn in schools.
8. Class warfare: Divide the people into wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (tax) the wealthy, with the support of the poor.

Does any, or all, of this sound familiar?

Bob.........Saul Alinsky first wrote this back in the 70's when he was a community organizer in Chicago....Huh, a community organizer in Chicago, that also sounds familiar.........

Rules for radicals * RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. (Pretty crude, rude and mean, huh? They want to create anger and fear.) ~~~~ chucky schumer is demonstrating the use of this one with his latest remarks regarding the tea party. schumer said the Tea Party is successor to "the Know-Nothings, Prohibitionists, Father Coughlin, and Huey Long."

The beast wrote her senior thesis on Saul Alinsky. Which is why she had no problem explaining slick willy's transgressions by stereotyping his conquests as what you would attract if you dragged a $5 bill thru a trailer park. She truly is a piece of work.

Leftism is the only mental disease that is contagious. These 8 points are only a tiny slice of how it is spread.

Jill Abramson, the executive editor of the NYTimes, the mouthpiece for all things leftism said in an interview that the obama regime is the "most secretive White House" she has eve covered. Which suits perfectly to what they are trying to accomplish. They have a "hands off" strategy to the destruction (fundamental transformation) they are engaged it. Which simply means leave no fingerprints on the pile of rubble they leave behind. The Times is complicit in the entire cabal, since they do everything within their power to paint the criminals as the hero's.

Unfortunately, this list hits every nail on the head, except I only count seven on this list even though it is numbered one to eight, unless I counted wrong. Each one listed seem to be the topics in the news on a daily basis and only seem to be getting worse. Healthcare and Gun control are the two that get me the most P.O.'d. Obama is ruining our country on every level! However, this is my personal opinion, as I am a Hard Working -Tax Paying -El Dorado County Resident and that dim light that used to be at the end of this very long tunnel has now disapeard from my eyes only leaving me to think that it will be a very long haul before seeing it again. Where is the positive in all this >

#8 -- yes, dividing the wealthy and the poor causes discontent with the wealthy as they they don't want the subject brought up in the light of day. #7 seems to be missing. #6 -- take control of what children learn in schools, as in the red states where children are instructed that the world is 6,000 years old and they are descended from Adam and Eve. #5 -- Welfare, are all the 'hard working' Americans in EDC on welfare? #4 -- gun control. No one has taken my pistol, have they taken yours? #3 -- Debt increase. Debt has increased and every debt due has been passed by the House of Representatives, as all money bills begin with them. #2 -- Poverty is high because corporations have been taking more and more from workers to increase their profits on the backs of the workers. #1 -- Health insurance companies are the ones controlling our health care. Go to Medicare For All and that profit black hole will be gone. Mr. Woolsey, yes, sure sounds familiar to me.

Or consider this........#1 ..Only in Obama's' America would an administration be allowed to print and pump enormous amounts of money to prop up a failing economy and then turn around and brag about the economies turn-a-round while bread goes up to 5.00 a loaf and we are paying 3.50 per gallon of gas. .......#2....Only in Obama's America do politicians talk about the greed of the rich at a $35,000.00 a plate campaign fund-raising event and insist that 23 Million unemployed means the economy is improving!........#3...Only in Obama's America could people claim that the government still discriminates against black Americans when we have a black President, a black Attorney General and roughly 20% of the federal work-force is black and while only 14% of the population is black. 40+% of all federal entitlements goes to black Americans.......That's 3X the rate that goes to whites and 5X the rate that goes to Hispanics!!!!.........#4..Only in Obama's America do they have had the two people most responsible for our tax code, Timothy Geithner (the head of the Treasury Department) and Charles Rangel (who once ran the Ways and Means Committee), BOTH turn out to be tax cheats who are in favor of higher taxes..........#5 .Only in Obama's America can they have terrorists kill people in the name of Allah and have the media react by fretting that Muslims might be harmed by the backlash............#6 Only in Obama's' America would they make people who want to legally become American citizens wait for years in their home countries and pay tens of thousands of dollars for the privilege, while they discuss letting anyone who sneaks into the country illegally just 'magically' become American citizens.............#7 Only in Obama's America would the people who believe in balancing the budget and sticking by the country's Constitution be thought of as "extremists."............#7 Only in Obama's America do you need to present a driver's license to cash a check or buy alcohol, but not to vote.........#8 Only in Obama's America would people demand the government investigate whether oil companies are gouging the public because the price of gas went up when the return on equity invested in a major U.S. oil company (Marathon Oil) is less than half of a company making tennis shoes (Nike)...........#9 Only in Obama's America does the government collect more tax dollars from the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a Trillions.......#10 Only in Obama's' America do the rich people - who pay 86% of all income taxes - get accused of not paying their "fair share" by people who don't pay any income taxes at all.......Welcome to Hope & Change, sound familiar????..

R.J., there was no #7 and you added two #7s. And, then you also added #9 and #10 -- there is no way to equate with Mr. Woolsey's eight with the the #7 missing? P.S. Write your comment up as a Letter to the Editor and send it in.

Once upon a time I knew someone who spelled s-q-u-i-r-e-l-l instead of saying the word for fear her dog would notice and chase.

Re. the new #7(2): I was asked once to show my ID when attempting to purchase alcohol? When I was 16? No, my future wife's father worked at a winery and there was ample stock in her basement. It was about 4 years ago at the CVC drugstore in Pollock Pines. Yes, 72 years old and I didn't look 16, I looked 72. Guess they must have had underage cops in there buying alcohol who looked 72. So, all us old guys had to suffer.
