SPEAR

EDITOR:

I want to inform you that I had to relocate to the Bay Area because my husband became gravely ill. He passed away on March 6. I am not sure at this time as to what decision will be made concerning my SPEAR organization. Today (June 17) is our 15th anniversary. I am so proud of all the support I have received from your great newspaper, especially Mimi Escabar, Bob Billingsley and others on your staff.

Also a great thanks to all my board members, who have devoted so much time and effort to help save children’s lives. I consider these folks my true angels; we have nine documented lives that we have saved in these 15 years. If I would have to terminate this organization, here in this county, I would consider starting a Shelter for Kids At Risk, or Homeless Mothers and Children, in this area, or wherever it was needed. I have many things to address at this time, as I have to get my business house in order, and then proceed. I will keep my friends Bob and Mimi posted as to my progress. Thanking you again.
