Stay engaged

By From page A5 | November 21, 2012

EDITOR: Hey, everyone, it is OK to feel deeply disappointed in the results of the recent general elections. It is OK to express those disappointments either verbally or in writing. It is also OK to express joy and hope in the results.

These kinds of actions show that you are engaged. You are the driving force of any republic or democracy. Without our engaged citizens, we could quickly evolve into something other than the democracy we now enjoy.

So fellow Americans, keep writing those letters and keep espousing your values and your views. You are engaged and because you are we are all the better off for it.
