Stolen garbage can

EDITOR:

To the person or persons responsible for stealing our garbage can, full of garbage: I find it awfully odd that someone would steal a garbage can full of garbage, waiting to be picked up.

Maybe steal an empty one, but full? Since it was extra heavy this week, because of cleaning out of freezer food. Since we have moved here, so far two smashed mail boxes, and now this, which might seem trivial, but to me seems like an invasion of privacy. Hope you enjoyed all the garbage, and hope you get sick, since my husband and I have been sick, and the trash was full of old kleenex.

Thieves hard at work as usual. What this generally is has to do with identity theft, the thieves hope to obtain important papers from the trash and then steal your identity. Best bet is to shred all and anything these days.

Hopefully it was just some drunken hooligan and not someone stealing your garbage to look for personal papers, old bills etc. in order to steal your identity and open accounts...Odds are somebody just needed a garbage can, but ya never know....
