Toxins

EDITOR:

Please help to keep our waterways free from toxins that make humans, animals and plant life sick. This county in the past has advised us not to drink the tap water. Our county has a poor record regarding the environment; we’re known for our many apple orchards and countless vineyards, all with few exception use harmful chemicals that travel in our water and air ways; the toxic fruit that’s produced is naturally consumed by humans and animals.

We don’t have a good public transportation system, at least half the county’s population drive oversized trucks and SUVs addding more toxins in the air and waterways. Clean water ought to be a given right not a privilege; freedom to drink
clean water is everyone’s birthright!

Also, our county could use a lot more “greening up.”

Ms Pukis, you will have a greater chance of finding peace of mind by removing yourself from this county than you will find in calling for the removal of these "toxins" from this county. But good luck.

You're kidding me, El Dorado's municipal water is amongst the best in California, I have tested the water myself! the TDS is between 17-21 not bad at all considering YOLO County was over the EPA limit of 500. Also the testing done at the lab indicates that the water is excellent and the little trihalomethanes are easily removed with carbon/RO filtering... You should move to Yolo county and drink that sewage, bet you will be bake and be happy with our water!
