EDITOR:

I would like to take a moment and express my support of Trisha Wilkins, who is a candidate for the Placerville City Council. Over the course of the past year I have gotten to know Trisha by being involved in mutual community and political activities. I have found Trisha to be very hardworking, thoughtful and compassionate. She takes the time to listen to city residents about their hopes and dreams for Placerville.

One aspect about Trisha that I admire is that if she doesn’t know the answer to something she will do the research and find the answer. This differs from many involved in politics, who pretend they have all the answers. What I like most about her campaign platform is her desire to strengthen Placerville’s small business community and ensure the safety of its residents. Trisha has no personal agenda, other than making the city an even better place to live. She is a breath of fresh air, and would be a definite bright spot in local politics.

wait, wait, wait...you mean Trish unlike Carol Patton will ACTUALLY LISTEN to the business owners who did not want the Roundabout and had to file a lawsuit to stop that noxious plannning idea? You mean Trish unlike Carol Patton will actually stop and listen to the people of Placerville about the insane Revelopment scam which Carol Patton's good buddy the convicted FELON Dave Machado pushed? And the people of Placerville had to force a vote to rid ourselves of the Redevelopment perversion even after Jerry Brown was killing it for Crony Captialism?
