What’s happening to America?

EDITOR:

An Obama thought for the U.S. is to outsource all natural resources so as to make us totally dependent on museum countries. Spread the wealth to our enemies and put us dependent on them; this makes as much sense as Hitler telling Russia that Germany was their allies during WWII. They invaded Russia while they thought that Hitler was on their side. Make no mistake this man is going to make us a subservient nation to the Muslim world. Put all the pieces together, weapons ban, spending us into oblivion, 16 trillion plus; split our Congress into two groups of my way is the only way. He has already downgraded our economy to the point that if someone doesn’t intervene we will end up in a world war that will make all other wars look like child’s play. If the left don’t pull their heads out of the sand prior to this election and vote for someone that cares for American values, life for our kids and grandchildren will be that of servitude to socialistic government. That is if there is anything left to govern.

  1. James E. says:

Weapons ban? Who, what, when, where, and how? Plus, I had no idea President Obama has spent $16 trillion in just 3 and 1/2 years. And, perhaps Mr. Schumann could give us specifics on how the President has downgraded our economy. Wasn’t it already downgraded when he became president in January 2009? I fear for Mr. Schumann when the president is reelected — will he spin totally out of control?

  2. Foaming at the Mouth says:

You can’t fool me. Dorothea Falkenstien wrote this letter for you, didn’t she?

  3. Darrin says:

Oh, yawn, Obama is a socialist rant again…

  4. cookie65 says:

Martin, obama voters care about only one thing. Other peoples money. Liberalism is dependent on the wealth created by capitalism in order to exist. While they blame capitalism for the car they drive, the roof over their head and the food on the shelves. There is no reasoned discussion with them. Emotions don’t think. Can you imagine the true disappointment they must feel after getting sold hope and change only to be witness to the single worst president in American history? Tell me how someone who would vote for 4 more years of this can be helped? We have people in this country who believe the words that come out of the mouth of debbie wasserman schultz, need I say more?

  5. prescient says:

Below written in about 1965 by George Romney, Mitt’s father: “With extremists of the right and left preaching and practicing hate, and bearing false witness on the basis of guilt by association and circumstantial rationalization and with such extremists rising to official positions of leadership in the Republican party, we cannot recapture the respect of the nation and lead it to its necessary spiritual, moral, and political rebirth if we hide our heads in the sand and decline to even recognize in our platform that the nation is again beset by modern ‘know nothings.’”

  6. Catherine says:

Foaming, yours is a spot-on observation!

  7. James E. says:

Foaming, you caused me to smile.

  8. M. Schumann says:

Watch this short video then comment and tell us what Obama has done for us. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsa4uLmTw0M

  9. James E. says:

Mr. Schumann, I tried to pull up that video but I couldn’t — so, will have to rely on you to tell us what President did or didn’t do. Hurry, we only have Sunday and Monday left.

  10. kgg says:

yes, the socialism accusation is getting old – as well as the pro muslim lie.
putting aside all the crazy wild tales about the president, do you really want to live in a country where:
    * women are paid less for the same job as men
    * employers can decide if their employees can get birth control coverage included in the health insurance that the employees pay for
    * funding for fema, pbs, national endowment for the arts, nation public radio are eliminated
    * we have medicare vouchers
    * middle class and poor tax payers subsidize millionaries
    * we have more supreme court rulings like citizens united
    * we go to war with iran

good grief people, think before you vote. don’t let bigotry and hatred and nonsense rule your decisions.

  11. Thomas Gibney says:

So Golly, what happens if Obama loses? ( I hope he does even though we would trade for a lesser evil)are those of us who voted against him all racist, women hating Nazis (A Cliche term I know… )
And if he does lose what does that tell you of the country? Are they truly dumber than all you liberals who seem to feel you know better than most people?
Of course if Romney wins it will obviously mean he cheated. The lawyers will come out , race crimes against whites will happen (According to Bill Maher)and anybody who has a Gadsen flag or decal will be burned at the stake…?
How sad and smug have you become?

  12. James E. says:

Mr. Gibney, calm down, have a drink — one or the other will win and 100 years from now we won’t care. For me, make that 50 — I don’t think I can make it beyond 125 (unless, of course, there is some massive medical breakthrough).

  13. Thomas Gibney says:

JL, I am calm I just returned from a week of camping on the Sonoma Coast. I suppose I was a bit tongue and cheek..I was pointing out the ridiculousness of it all…I have had my drink after a 4 hour drive and am content to now retire for the evening…Cheers!

  14. Cat Mandu says:

Oh yippee. Martin the loon has spoken again.

  15. laughing at the left says:

Let’s see, Martin the loon has spoken but the left just criticizes what he says. They never say anything that contradicts only that they are right and we are wrong. Sounds just like Obama, hasn’t said anything that means anything, and what he has said means nothing because nothing he has said that he would do has been done. He is good for protecting his good fortune but not very good of protecting the lives of our Benghazi heroes, he gave orders he says to protect them at whatever cost but no one heard them so four of America’s best are dead now; that lies directly on his shoulders. Yes sir, I want this man to lead our country to the apex of greatness. He has run our country so far into debt providing for the illegals and thee I don’t want to work crowd, along with his great expectations of green energy. New employment isn’t keeping up with new arrivals to the job market. He has devastated our natural resource availability while letting EPA run wild closing down coal production and plants that contribute to a large portion to electrical grid, driving up prices. Standing behind the bunk of global warming, using it to dump fortunes into pockets of green energy investors and cronies. Give me a break, this president if re-elected still won’t get anything done because the house will still be GOP, we know that he is not bipartisan so look forward to devastating spending and no budget.

  16. James E. says:

Mr./Ms. Laughing At The Left: Key words in your complaint about President Obama not getting things done: He won’t get anything done because the House will still be GOP. Does that give you a hint why he hasn’t got much done, or will be able to get done? Can you spell obstruction?

  17. laughing at the left says:

You spell obstruction like this, Obama
