It’s amazing what you find when looking for something else. Exploring the CA Democratic Central Committee’s website to see where $5.1M for the YES on Prop 30 Campaign came from (an answer I’m unlikely to get) I found they have an
•	African-American Caucus
•	Arab American Caucus
•	Asian Pacific Islander Caucus
•	Chicano Latino Caucus
•	Filipino American Caucus
•	Irish American Caucus
•	LGBT Caucus
•	Native American Caucus. I’m not sure which one caters for citizens regarding themselves simply as “American”. For myself, the closest fit is Irish American. If you can’t find yourself a group you’re probably a racist!

Judy Goggins, you’re right. We probably won’t live to see this “temporary tax” repealed. Elsewhere I see that the income tax part of Prop 30 will apply RETROACTIVELY to 01/01/2012. $67.1 million was spent on the YES campaign which had the support of
•	Jerry Brown
•	League of Women Voters of CA
•	CA Democratic Party
•	CA Teachers Assoc
•	CA State Council of Service Employees
•	CA School Employees Assoc
•	American Federation of Teachers
•	CA Federation of Teachers ********** The California Teachers Assoc and American Fed of Teachers combined YES donation = $15.6M. The Democratic State Central Committee: $5.1M. Major donors to both YES and NO can be found @ http://ballotpedia.org/wiki/index.php/California_Proposition_30,_Sales_and_Income_Tax_Increase_%282012%29
