Wonderful care at Marshall

EDITOR:

I recently spent 11 days in Marshall Hospital and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who cared for me. I was admitted through the new ER and was quite impressed with it and the staff. From there I went to the ICU. The nurses, aides and doctors were great. The same for everyone on the first floor, where I received wonderful care. This includes dietary and housekeeping, who do not get thanked enough. I cannot name everyone, but thank you all so much.

I was treated with respect as well there...at our community meetings...medical facilities were brought up. I reminded people we had a great doctor in town. a medical center 10 mins away and Marshall 13 miles away (we also have a great fire dept) The facilitator told me to forget about Marshall...in our thinking ahead for the next twenty years--Is Marshall going somewhere? Pollock is only so big. You can not expand it any more...you can build up (high density communities)to build out--you have to take out...either homes, business. or the trees. Eco-tourism. The new tag word. Marshall watch your back.
