THE DRIVER of a white Toyota sedan is tended to by paramedics at 4:17 p.m. Aug. 2 and will be taken to a Calstar helicopter to be transported to Sutter Hospital. According to witnesses at the scene the female driver was traveling westbound on Forni Road approaching the Forni Road-Placerville Driver overpass at a high rate of speed, causing several drivers to take evasive action. The vehicle flew off the embankment next to the overpass, careened down a 30-foot embankment and flew off the embankment and landed in the eastbound section of Highway 50.
