By March 9, 2011

CLASS FOR BABY BIRDS: The Sierra Wildlife Rescue (SWR) group will open their Baby Bird Nursery around May 1. Many volunteers are needed to feed the rescued baby birds. A second class (the first class was already scheduled for 3-26) will be held on Sunday, April 3, from 2 to 4 p.m., to teach volunteers how to feed and care for the baby birds. The class will be held at the SWR Wildlife Center, 3030 Newtown Rd., Placerville. To register for class, call Barbara Barker at 530-621-2650. If you find an orphaned or injured baby or adult bird, call 530-621-4661.
