Air quality district announces lunchtime closure

The El Dorado County Air Quality Management District will close each day from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch beginning March 28.

“Those seeking burn permits, fugitive dust plans or asbestos dust mitigation plans are most likely to be affected by the lunch hour closure,” said Mike Applegarth, interim Air Pollution Control officer. “We hope to get the word out so people can plan accordingly.”
