CHP Officer Quinn Cuthbertson described the incident as a non-fatal DUI traffic collision on westbound Highway 50 at 41 Mile Stone at 3:30 a.m. The 37-year-old male, of Pollock Pines, “went off the road into a tree.”
The driver of the 2005 Chevy pickup, later identified as Matthew James Teel of Pollock Pines, was arrested for DUI, said Officer Frank Rodriquez.
