I challenge community members to attend a board meeting and pay attention to the typical dialogue – if members even show up. Ask for attendance records of Scroggins, Allen, and Shurtz. These guys are so bad. Nice rhetoric Mel. Protect the teachers and Board? You’re comparing yourself to college educated, some at the Masters level, educators? Walk a day in their shoes. Seriously. Sit in on classes. Ask intelligent questions. See what they deal with. Don’t settle for perspective from the Superintendent. He’s a joke as well. Represent your constituents. Quit wasting our time. What could you possibly know about the education system? At least bring someone in the fold with a real perspective and background. We are leaving the educational system oversight of our children to a group of goons. It has to stop. Vote for anyone other than the current members…please.
