The new service is accessible at edcgov.us/taxcollector. Here applicants can click the link “Get a Business License” and the user friendly system walks applicants through the process.
The business license site provides applicants an easy-to-complete on-line application form that can be electronically submitted to the Tax Collector’s office, saved and printed. The payment of the normally $32 fee can be made with an e-check or credit card.
While not all businesses may apply for a license on line, most business owners can save themselves time and energy by using the on-line system.
