Question 1: Where is your favorite local hang-out and why?

My favorite local “hang-out” location is the Whistle Stop Yogurt in old Placerville. I enjoy all the trains on display and the delicious, great-tasting cold yogurts. It makes a nice end to a hot summer night.

My favorite place to hang out is Bricks Restaurant on Main Street in downtown old Placerville. My favorite menu item is the chicken with pineapple salsa wrap and I enjoy drinking an apple ale with it. I also enjoy the friendly, casual and fun atmosphere at Bricks.

Question 2: What was your favorite carnival food, your favorite carnival ride and your favorite show or activity at this year’s El Dorado County Fair?

I really like the carnival’s wood-fired pizza. And my favorite carnival ride is the “Tilt.” My favorite activity this year was to watch the monkey show.
