Upon completion of all coursework and passing DVM/CHP requirements, successful applicants would be eligible to apply for a California school bus driving license. Employment would not be guaranteed. However, learning to drive the big yellow bus is a great way to develop a career that matches your children’s school schedule.
Classes for potential new drivers are being offered locally at the Mother Lode Union School District (Forni Road, Placerville) from June 3-7. Classroom and behind-the-wheel training costs for eligible candidates will be paid by the Gold Trail Union School District. If you would like more information, please immediately contact Transportation Supervisor Linda Havner at 530-642-5789 or visit edjoin.org.
