Sierra Nevada Tire and Wheel may be moving, but after finding a window broken, some cash may not be following.
On Feb. 2 around 7 a.m., Placerville Police officers were dispatched to the business on Broadway for a report of a broken window, Capt. Mike Scott said. Officers learned that an employee had arrived at work to find the glass shattered.
A walk through the building revealed that petty cash had been taken by unknown suspects.
Geoff Bodle, the owner of the store, said the store is moving to the Stancil Building on Main Street as the price and location were hard to beat, noting that the side of town the business is currently located in is “withering away.”
“This end of town is dying,” Bodle said. He noted the new building is a nicer facility, and that the new location will be “more customer friendly. I think it’ll be good.”
The business will be moving at the beginning of April.
Broadway is going to the homeless, the City Police Department is in turmoil currently and has no ability to protect the public or business. Watch this video and the others tell a story for a clear understanding. http://youtu.be/7aB1mj-4LwU
Homeless is one of a number of new protected classes of people the liberals want to invent with superior rights and laws that allow their lifestyle choices, I am sure Moonbeam will also propose the same for all of the felons he released already. Business owners are packing it in and leaving as are thousands of retirees as fast as they can, what will fill the void will cause this state to be the laughing stock of the country.
1036, have you heard the ads from Texas Gov. Rick Perry? He is running ads in Califoria for business to move to business friendly Texas. http://dailycaller.com/2013/02/04/perry-running-ads-in-california-encouraging-businesses-to-move-to-texas/
Congratulations to Geoff and all of the Sierra Nevada Tire and Wheel Employees for the upgrade. Looking forward to your services at your new location.
Signed a long time customer.
@ Tail Wags Dog, as a property owner in the area of upper Broadway I see first hand the decline taking place. I can assure you the PPD boots on the street guys are not the issue. Perhaps the admin or the City leaders are responsible for whats happening up there. I’m fully aware of the PPD turmoil, however I believe the root of the problem is at the level of City Hall. Time has a way of cleansing these types of circumstances, the tax paying public will reach a breaking point sooner than later.
yes Frank, let us blame the liberals. It is their fault. Nobody else. Now we all feel so much better and our problems are solved.
