According to the El Dorado Elections Department, once a candidate has provided the necessary signatures and paid their filing fees, their name is on the ballot unless it is withdrawn by a certain date. That date was March 7.
Henry withdrew from the race on March 24, too late to have his name removed.
Election officials said Henry never officially notified them he would be withdrawing. Instead he chose to do so via a press release.
