Elizabeth Emken, a new conservative candidate for the United States Senate from California, will speak at the next meeting of the Tea Party in the Hills at 7 p.m. on Aug. 14 at the American Legion Hall, 4561 Greenstone Road in Shingle Springs.
Free parking, free raffle tickets and freedom of expression will be offered at the meeting.
The Tea Party in the Hills meets every second Tuesday. It is an informal group of citizens interested in constructive action to encourage elected representatives to be responsible to the voter.

Hey, Mountain Democrat -- How many times are you going to push this? Every paper for the last two weeks had had an "Article" on this..... Guess what guys....there are OTHER people in this county...maybe you should report on something for them....

Dink, I'm guessing most press releases get published. The OTHER people in this county should just send them in. Find the paper's Press Releases form at Customer Service, bottom page, left.
