‘Dimentia Whisperer’ at Marshall

Marshall Community Health Library in Cameron Park is pleased to continue its Healthy Aging Seminars featuring some of Marshall’s expert clinical providers and health experts from the community. This free series is made possible by a grant from Friends of El Dorado County Seniors.

The next opportunity will be held Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 5:30 p.m., when Laura Wayman, the popular author known as the “Dementia Whisperer,” will share her knowledge on meaningful and effective communication with those who have dementia.

Space is limited, so pre-registration is required. Call the library at 530-626-2778.

All upcoming seminars will be held at the Marshall’s Upper Campus in Cameron Park, located at 3581 Palmer Drive. The Dementia Seminar will be held in suite 501.

    If the editor is not going to review article titles, at least run a spell check on this stuff. "Dimentia" is not a word . . . "dementia" is. More troubling is that it is actually spelled correctly in the article body. Sheesh, people, some journalistic standards, please.

    Being a member of the community, I find myself being embarrassed when these blaring spelling errors happen in this newspaper. Lazy comes to my mind.
