EDH massage therapist arrested

Lockard Patrick

PATRICK LOCKARD

An El Dorado Hills massage therapist has been arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment and sexual battery.

Detectives arrested Patrick Lockard, 46, of Shingle Springs on Sept. 5, a press release stated. A woman reported that she had been receiving a massage from Lockard at Massage Envy in El Dorado Hills when he allegedly held her down and sexually battered her. Detectives subsequently investigated the incident for corroboration and made the arrest.

Lockard has worked at the El Dorado Hills Massage Envy for two years and has been a massage therapist for 16 years.

Anyone with additional information is urged to call Sheriff’s Detective Richard Horn at 530-642-4715.

I am surprised by this as I have had several massages from him. I am a female and never felt in any way threathened. He does apply sports and deep tissue techniques that require holding down a position with some degree of force to be able to release the spasm or tension in a given muscle but that is just part of the therapy. I do believe this could be a total missunderstanding.I feel his demeanor was alwasy friendly but respectful.
