El Dorado County Sheriff John D’Agostini announced the theme for the 2013 Community Meetings: “We Work For You.”

The first scheduled meeting of the year will take place on March 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oak Meadow School on Silva Valley Parkway in El Dorado Hills, a press release stated. Supervisor Ron Mikulaco will be in attendance. The meetings are open to the community, giving county residents a chance to meet and speak with the sheriff and and other members of his office.

The meetings will rotate supervisory districts and will be held every other month. The sheriff and managers from each division — operations, custody, support services and fiscal — will attend. Representatives from the STAR, Neighborhood Watch, Sheriff’s Reserves, Sheriff’s Explorers programs and the district supervisor will also attend. The EDSO crime analyst will present a PowerPoint presentation concerning crime trends in the community.

Following the presentation, attendees are encouraged to fill out a survey of their priorities for law enforcement to help the department better serve the community.

Time to start asking questions: Why so many "IA's". When nothing is found, orders come from higher up to "find something". Guess intimidation is alive and well. Try some harassment and retaliation and you are just beginning to see what is up with this administration. Election time is coming.

Promotions are made for blind loyality and nothing will be done as long as those at the top are getting theirs. Status quo is still alive and well and the GOB's are just building their stock, keep the workers at the bottom and doing all the work. Don't think for a moment tah anything will change and a leader will be found as the same leader is behind the scenes calling all the shots. Turn the place upside down and dumpall that's there and start over, an honest Sheriff is wanted and we won't see one for some time to come.
