The first scheduled meeting of the year will take place on March 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oak Meadow School on Silva Valley Parkway in El Dorado Hills, a press release stated. Supervisor Ron Mikulaco will be in attendance. The meetings are open to the community, giving county residents a chance to meet and speak with the sheriff and and other members of his office.
The meetings will rotate supervisory districts and will be held every other month. The sheriff and managers from each division — operations, custody, support services and fiscal — will attend. Representatives from the STAR, Neighborhood Watch, Sheriff’s Reserves, Sheriff’s Explorers programs and the district supervisor will also attend. The EDSO crime analyst will present a PowerPoint presentation concerning crime trends in the community.
Following the presentation, attendees are encouraged to fill out a survey of their priorities for law enforcement to help the department better serve the community.
