The endorsement was announced Sept. 27.
Bigelow’s campaign has continued to gain momentum. In addition to former senator Rico Oller’s hometown newspaper switching their endorsement from Oller to Bigelow for the general election, Bigelow’s list of local leader support continues to grow. Over 75 local elected officials from all nine counties are backing small businessman Frank Bigelow for state Assembly.
El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee Chairman Kirk Bone said Bigelow is uniquely qualified to be the voice of small businessmen and women in the state Legislature.
“It’s clear Frank Bigelow understands what it takes to create jobs, reduce spending and get our economy going again,” Bone said. “I trust Frank Bigelow to be a leading voice in Sacramento to address the burdensome regulations that are cashing employers out of California.”
The El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce is devoted to preserving the quality of life in El Dorado County by advocating and promoting a strong, healthy and diverse business community. The Chamber of Commerce and rancher Frank Bigelow agree that the Legislature must help expand California’s existing business base and attract new businesses to California.
Bigelow is a fourth generation family rancher from O’Neals in Madera County. The election is Nov. 6.
