On July 9, El Dorado County Board of Education Member Matt Boyer submitted his letter of resignation, after representing District 1 for over a decade. The El Dorado County Board of Education will consider making an appointment to fill this vacancy at a special meeting scheduled for July 31 at 11:30 a.m., at the administration offices of the El Dorado County Office of Education, 6767 Green Valley Road, in Placerville.
