El Dorado County School Board vacancy

On July 9, El Dorado County Board of Education Member Matt Boyer submitted his letter of resignation, after representing District 1 for over a decade. The El Dorado County Board of Education will consider making an appointment to fill this vacancy at a special meeting scheduled for July 31 at 11:30 a.m., at the administration offices of the El Dorado County Office of Education, 6767 Green Valley Road, in Placerville.

All interested parties are encouraged to review the minimum qualifications and electronically submit a Candidate Information Sheet, available on the Spotlight page at edcoe.org, which includes the map of District 1. The information provided will be made available to the board for their consideration. Applications may be submitted online, e-mailed to [email protected], faxed to 530-642-1832, or mailed to Superintendent of School’s Office, EDCOE, 6767 Green Valley Road, Placerville, CA 95667, by the close of business Monday, July 28. Applicants will be notified of an interview time for the meeting on July 31.
