It is interesting that in this case the feds at the FBI got involved and there was not the political decision and deal making process that prevented the Gob’s here from facing crimminal charges. The investigative branch of local Govt. failed miserably with the Gob’s locally and it was a situation where only an outside agency could of been brought in as was suggested numerous times. What did happen was a sudden retirement-exodus of the gang that made up most of the Gob’s. Only the federal lawsuit that covers a small percentage of their actions remains.

10-36 Frank, you should see the complaint posted on this;several years of investigation and the people involved. You are right the way it should be gone, but not here because they all benefit from the money they get. But then the Sheriff said he was too busy to see what was going on and he avoided any mirrors near him.

This is an example of how an investigation is conducted into an allegation of corruption and appropriate action taken. The “Good Ol’ Boys” here in the Sheriff’s Office were allowed to retire instead of facing the music and are still laughing all the way to the bank. The allegations against this officer pale in comparison to the retired Sheriff’s Gob’s who got away but are not forgotten.
