A South Lake Tahoe bank was robbed Wednesday morning.

A white male suspect walked into the El Dorado Savings and Loan on 3443 Lake Tahoe Boulevard around 9:30 a.m. and presented the teller with a demand note, a press release stated. Though the suspect said he was armed; he did not show any weapons.

After being given an undisclosed sum, the suspect walked out of the bank. A suspect vehicle, a four-door dual-cab black Dodge Ram with a tool box, possibly a 2004 or 2005, was seen quickly driving away from the area. The vehicle turned westbound on Lake Tahoe Boulevard from the bank.

Surveillance footage of the suspect shows him to be about 6 feet 2 inches tall; weight proportionate to his height; wearing a beige baseball hat; a short-sleeved, plaid button-down shirt, khaki cargo shorts and flip-flops.
