Fran -- connect the dots for me, please. Does the crackdown on roadside vendors have a relation to the Food Bank distributions?

Kirk--Nope. I just want people to look at the article--and go to the links and read the comments...micro farming needs to be protected within the general plan. There is now have a group working on the rights of small farmers. I didnt have any where else to put it...I chose food :) Although veggies are given out from these trucks at times--not sure if the veggies and fruits come from our farms.

I have a job...annoying CEDAPP...CEDAC...Jeannie Harper...and any followers. It keeps me busy--I get calls now to go into meetings and just be "me." Apparently I disturb people--its a gift. I went to the new micro-farming meeting...nice people. If you are interested in "urban" farming across the USA--interesting topic...since no one will listen and it looks like LUPPU will go through...people now have to worry about if they can keep their small farms going --in what will be "urban" residential areas. These small farms are not protected with in the general plan. Of course if the "urban red lines" are taken away...bingo the nightmare goes away. Lets start in Detroit...http://www.hantzfarmsdetroit.com/

Thank you James...I asked about the hostess product this morning...it seems that the company didnt realize how much they would need--plus they got rid of many of their projects...the person i spoke with said--they do not know what will come in...hopefully the demand for Twinkies will die down. People are stocking them up...

Cheeks: The decision to feel annoyed/happy/sad/glad rests with you alone. If Fran or I or anyone else were the determinant of your mental state you would have to admit to personal powerlessness. Is that the way you want to live?

Phil, I think it would be a great idea. When law is passed everyone upon reaching their 70th birthday would be put down. Those who were 76 or older on the date the law is passed would be grandfathered. Those between 71 and 75 would be given a ticket to Hawaii and told not to return. Phil, how old are you again?

Now if the county could bring back jobs that were lost when the mill closed...but redoing trails is important as well. I picture being able to push what they have left out of Pollock...other cultures pushed from their homes-- just had muddy roads. And the elite win. Not many in Harpers group have to stand in a food line...it is a very humbling experience. Harpers group does not support the senior lunch program either...it is for all seniors (it is part of the meals on wheels program) Luckily there are still some "hot shots" that go--bless them for supporting a very important program...gets seniors from all economic backgrounds out socializing...laughter and exchange of ideas is "healthy."

Phil, sorry but I'm 76 so I've been grandfathered from the program. When they knock on my door I'll remind them you are 69 and due for termination next year. Hey, Phil, for the common good that you almost 70 citizens don't drain our health care funds. Too bad you weren't old enough to be grandfathered.

James, you are clever, but you are a poor student of euthanasia laws. Your 70 citation is correct. But you did not read far enough. EXEMPTION 777A: - Whosoever has attained the status of GREAT GRANDPARENT is exempt due to the special emotional needs of the great grandchild. Kirsten, my first great grandchild was born May 7th, 2002. I have a total of three. . . . furthermore . . . EXEMPTION 777A - SUBCLAUSE 777 SUB BS - Whosoever reaches the status of GREAT GRANDPARENT prior to his/her 60th birthday is awarded "master privilege". (Three pages of text define and constrain "master privilege") Suffice it to say, James, treat the committee with respect when they come a knockin'.
