Retired El Dorado County Undersheriff Ernie Hillman has endorsed Richard Barb for Supervisor District 3. Undersheriff Hillman’s endorsement came following a recent candidate forum.
“I’ve have carefully considered the two remaining candidates for supervisor,” Hillman said, “and I have decided to endorse Richard Barb because of his vision and plan to enhance our business climate and create badly needed jobs for our struggling economy.”
“I worked very hard for many years to help keep our families and community safe from crime and criminals,” said Hillman. “Our county’s job policies should encourage productive business and working people who pay taxes to support our Sheriff’s Office and other county services we all rely on.”
“A very important issue to our community is enhancing our business climate and creating good-paying jobs,” Hillman said. “I think a person who has spent his life managing and owning small businesses is better equipped to accomplish this critical mission.
“Both candidates are good family men who care about our community”, concluded Undersheriff Hillman, “but we need Richard Barb to help turn our economy around.”
The election is Nov. 6.
