David Robert Freeman, the former Union Mine coach accused of 13 counts related to unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, appeared briefly in court Monday morning to set dates for his case.
Shannon Baker, Freeman’s attorney, informed the court she would be filing a 995 motion to dismiss counts of the complaint, to which the District Attorney’s Office would have to respond by July 18. A bail hearing was then set for July 20 at 1:30 p.m., with a second hearing on July 27 at 1:30 p.m. to discuss the 995 motion as well as setting a trial date.

Hmmm…. Unless the filing is to dismiss all of the counts, then some of them must be true which results in being a registered sex offender.
