Here are 2 of the BS quotes--“It interests me now to hear people say, ‘We need to go back and do what we did at Walton Lake’,” said White. “But in terms of life cycle costs, reliability, and the recommendations of the four different groups of professional engineers, I believe the water treatment process they are proposing is the preferred one.”
Krizl agreed, saying that it was during discussions between the state and staff when it was decided that the district couldn’t do the same kind of retrofit of ALT that had been done at Walton
Number one it was not a decision between the engineers and White, it was White alone who is not an expert at all on what to do. And Norm where have you been there was no agreement between the state and staff on not to do a retrofit. And I wish that White would not keep calling this a retrofit, it is a NEW plant that he is proposing. We NEED to go back to the state and tell them of of the deception and start all over. GDPUD has wasted a lot of money, but if you think that the NEW treatment plant can be built for the numbers that White is throwing around, think again---

It's no secret that Norm Krizl and Ray Griffiths don't do any research themselves but blindly accept what GM White says and rubber stamps what he wants. Thank goodness the people voted for a new majority to continue the goal of fiscal responsibility. Krizl and Griffiths are insignificant and powerless. So it's no surprise that this reporter (is reporter the correct term or GDPUD GM Peppet would be more acurate!) chooses to go to Norm for quotes. Norm has no clue about GDPUD Finances or what CDPUD did or EPA changed regulation. Does this reporter thinks this kind of propaganda will influence the good folks on the Divide who have no respect or trust in Krizl or White? Nice try, but a miserable failure. Ms. Hudson, what other Directors did you contact for information on this project? I remember Krizl wrote that Director Otermat reviewed CDPH Records. Did you, Ms Hudson? Obviously Ms. Hudson (much like Norm) won't even go to the GDPUD website to review budgets. Weak shallow biased reporting as usual.... again.

Once again your information is incorrect. The public actually spent funds on the Greenwood Lake Water Treatment Plant, look at the budget for 08-09 actual information presented for the six months ending December 31, 2008. This document shows that the District spent (actual cash) $1,049,633 on this abandon plant. The Grant did not pay that, the public did. There is more but why waste my time, this newspaper just prints incorrect information and does not verify the information. You just have to go to the GDPUD website and read a little. I got this information from their website you could too.
