The resignation of Dennis Goodenow from the Georgetown Divide Public Utility District led Director Maria Capraun, acting as treasurer, to appoint two to the committee, she told the Board of Directors Tuesday.

“I don’t know how we can have two more people on the committee,” said Director Norm Krizl. “But the board approves the committee, not one person.
“Two people stepped up,” Capraun said.
“I’m concerned you accepted two new people without board (approval),” Krizl said.
“These two gentlemen were in the wings. the board can approve it or what,” Capraun said.
“The board can’t approve it. It’s not on the agenda,” Krizl said.
“She misspoke. She’ll bring it up at the next meeting,” said Board President Bonnie McLane.
With that the board moved on to the next director’s report: Director Kathy Otermat reported that the district had received 14 applications for the office manager position.
