Cookie they don’t need 2/3rds any longer. The Democrats instituted this tax as a punishment to the voters in areas that are predominantly Republican. That’s why the rural folk are truly suffering from taxation with out representation. The Democrats in Sacramento have no fear of reprisal because their voting block wasn’t touched. So now we look to the liberal packed judicial system for help? How’s that worked out for us the past 30 years?

Hey crumbled, the socialists who run our state have run out of other peoples money. So they have created an illegal tax (not passed by 2/3′s vote) and called it a fee in order to collect more money from people who do not elect them. You be sure and let me know when the pass a $150 earthquake fee for the residence of southern California and the bay area.

Good for you George. Keep up the good work. By the way, why not just call it like I see it. Throw away the “Equalization” and just call it the “State Board of Bullies over Unwilling Collectors”.. As a business man, there is nothing “equal” about it. I have to collect their damn dollars, hold them in my bank, fill out their BS paperwork, and deliver “their” money to them. On time , or I get fined. What’s in it for small business? Well, NOTHING . . .Not even good attitudes toward us, their forced labor. I thought indentured servitude went out with Lincoln . . . there is nothing EQUAL in that overbearing group of bullies at all. I say, how about we just give these jerks names of customers and how much they owe and let them collect it, or pay us businessmen a percentage for being their slaves!

This tax is the result of citizens who are not only willing to sell their freedom for a handout, but also willing to sell everyone elses freedom for their handout. California is the modern example of everything the founding fathers warned us about. The democrat party should change its name. They are the opposite of democracy.
