Deputies responded within two minutes, a press release stated. They found Danie Radasa, 55, of Citrus Heights, with what seemed to be a gunshot wound. The area was secured and medical assistance was given to Radasa, who was conscious and able to walk. He was flown to Sutter Roseville Hospital and is expected to survive.
During the investigation, deputies were advised that Robert McKiernan, a resident of Wamego Road, had fled the area prior to deputies’ arrival. McKiernan, deputies were told, was the shooting suspect. Deputies were advised that Radasa had been at the residence to visit with his daughter, McKiernan’s girlfriend.
McKiernan was found requesting treatment for minor injuries at Marshall Hospital in Placerville. He was treated, released and taken into custody, where, according to the press release, he is currently speaking with investigators.
