Robert Banning, Hazelwood’s attorney, requested a trial date of Feb. 5, 2013, with a readiness and settlement conference on Jan. 25, 2013. Prosecutor Katie Dobler had no objections and the dates were set. Banning estimated the trial would take about three days.
Hazelwood is accused of running down his landlord, Jack Podsedly, with Podsedly’s ATV trike. Hazelwood also allegedly damaged water tanks on Podsedly’s property during the incident. Hazelwood, however, alleges that it was he who was run down by Podsedly.
