A man accused of kidnapping and attempted murder may have a resolution for his case.
Dustin James Woodruff, 27, was arrested in July in connection with the shooting and beating of Bryan Santana, 35, in July. On Monday, David Cramer, filling in for David Brooks, said that Woodruff was contemplating taking a plea deal which would result in two years of incarceration. But, Cramer said, Woodruff had questions that only Brooks could answer and Brooks was unavailable.
After confirming the offer from the District Attorney’s Office would remain open, a new hearing date of Oct. 29 at 1 p.m. in Department 7 was scheduled.
