On March 31, David Kreps was installed as the Exalted Ruler of the Placerville Elks Lodge. David has been a lodge member for six years. David is married to Marty and they will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in June. They have two adult children.
David and Marty have been El Dorado County residents for 40 years. David served the El Dorado County community as a Deputy Sheriff and District Attorney’s Office Investigator, retiring in 2003.
He has continued to serve his community not only as an Elk, but as a Church Youth Leader, Girl Scout Instructor and Lifeguard, Special Olympics Coach and Fundraiser. David continues to donate blood to “The Blood Source of Sacramento,” having donated 96 pints of blood to date.
David’s desire is to increase the lodge’s participation in serving the community, by focusing on the needs of our Veterans, Disabled and Disadvantaged Children, and the Youth of our Community. David encourages anyone who would like to serve our community to contact him.
