Operating under the authority of Animal Services, Sclar is called upon to evacuate and relocate large animals in the event of a disaster.
The all-volunteer organization’s members, new and continuing, will be sworn in as Registered Disaster Service Workers (large animal only) after the presentation by El Dorado County Office of Emergency Services. Cal Fire will present also. Interested parties are encouraged to attend and refreshments will be served.
