This is and was a federal case which is where larger drug cases go so that a no-parole sentence is handed down. The local DA is very busy being a politician and as such he is seen all around the county at coffee shops and parking lots talking, ever talking about I would guess his political future, local crime and corruption seem to be at the bottom of the list of priorities, look at his grandstanding with the Jaycee case and his ever bigger desire for publicity, I am sure he has delegated most of his work away and don’t forget that some of the judges are to blame for wrist slapping when they accept brokered deals and release another one for more crime. Crime is rising very fast with thousands of early released felons and will continue, seems like a daily shooting and robbery close by. Moonbeam told us all he solved prison overcrowding by releasing all the felons he could, He told us all how great he is, might even go to Washington for higher office, with the current dumbed down electorate, he might.

Track record still in tact, this case was handled federally no local DA involved, that would require that it be looked at, no worry there.

Wow, the DA actually filed on a case and prosecuted something. You would be surprised at the amount of real crime the DA’s office ignores. Get caught with meth, probation and a fine. Burglarize homes, probation and a fine. Ask any Deputy or PD Officer and you will hear the same thing. Its sickening. Wonder why the county had about 1200 burglaries last year? Its cause theres no repercussions against these tweekers that steal and commit most of the crimes in this county.
