The El Dorado Irrigation District is continuing the sewer pipeline construction project of the Mother Lode Force Main, with construction anticipated to begin in June and be completed by August.

The construction area will be along Oakmont Lane, Lakeview Drive, and a small portion of South Shingle Road. In accordance with the county’s encroachment permit, it is anticipated that construction will occur between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Sewer services will not be affected during construction. Traffic control will be implemented to maintain traffic flow.
The project is part the district’s ongoing capital improvement plan to replace the original sewer pipes for the Mother Lode Force Main.
EID will be holding a public meeting to discuss the project at the office of the El Dorado County Water Agency located at 4110 Business Drive, Suite B, in Shingle Springs on Wednesday, March 20 at 6 p.m.
