Pollock Pines Community meeting postponed

El Dorado County District 5 Supervisor Norma Santiago had to cancel the previously scheduled March 25 Pollock Pines Community Meeting when several events occurred that would have affected the best possible results for those participating, according to a statement from the supervisor’s office.

“I am not willing to compromise the process or the product that the community designs, so I postponed the community meeting to ensure optimum facilitation, participation and results,” said Santiago from her Placerville office on a break from the Board of Supervisors public meeting.

“Michael Ward and my assistant were both out of town, and I was scheduled at the last minute to meet with the California Director of State Parks which encroached upon the preparation and travel time from Sacramento to make the Pollock Pines meeting,” Santiago added.

“This is too important of a process to the Pollock Pines community to deliver anything but the best possible conditions for community engagement,” the supervisor insisted.

The Pollock Pines Community Meeting will now be held on Wednesday, April 3 at 6 p.m. at the Pollock Pines/Camino Community Center located at 2675 Sanders Drive.

Pollock Pines is the first community to engage in Community Economic Development Committee endorsed processes that allow residents in their communities to create a vision along with advisory councils that forward community design recommendations to the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors for possible funding and project approval.

“Pollock Pines is leading the way for other communities to copy their successes and I’m very excited about their progress, but also very sorry to inconvenience anyone by rescheduling the meeting,” Santiago concluded.

I invite all of you to attend the meeting on the 3rd of April here in Pollock Pines at 6. Should be interesting. I say "no" to this whole thing--it was presented dishonestly. And I do not believe in this type of "governance." I would start looking at the links put out for everyone--look at both sides of the issue...come to the meeting--decide for yourself. But most important look at the people who brought this "visioning" into your community. Look at the New Economy links--why has our county sighed it on? Once again I support some of the ideas--not the presenters. I am an American, who believes in the rule of law, I honor the past. I honor the constitution of the United States of America. I do not recognize any new global political/economic system--that I did not vote for. One does not need groups such as these to submit for grants. People have always worked together (volunteers) for projects that they believed in. Now a few non profits are selling their souls for money. See you at the meeting.

Under immense pressure from grassroots activists across the political spectrum, lawmakers in the Arizona Senate approved legislation last week that would ban the controversial United Nations “sustainable development” scheme known as UN Agenda 21 within the state. The measure in Arizona follows similar efforts in other states and comes amid increasing nationwide outrage about the international so-called “sustainability” plot, which according to UN documents aims to radically restructure human civilization under the guise of environmentalism and fighting poverty. http://www.thenewamerican.com/tech/environment/item/14932-state-ban-on-un-agenda-21-clears-arizona-senate

Look all around...look for plans with the word prosperity in them. right or wrong--its here.

Fran: Browsing through your abundant research underscores the deception of our elected officials. There are words for concepts they dare not speak for fear of triggering alarm bells, and yet those very words litter the documents. Because they refuse publicly to use "those words", obfuscating their names and purpose, a lie is being told. Thank you for your prolific research.

Excellent links referencing M-Consensus and Delphi Technique! This is common practice throughout EDC and the nation. "Our republic is being defeated by taking policy-making away from our democratically-elected, accountable, and transparent representatives and transferring it to unelected, unaccountable, and non-transparent central planning groups. We know them as NGOs, regional planning associations, and similar terms. The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) called them "soviets". Globalists call this "governance," apparently in an attempt to suggest it is something other than government takeover." (Kirk MacKenzie @ DRA)

Norma Santiago said essentially the same thing 2 weeks ago regarding TRANSPARENCY & ACCOUNTABILITY of the Mount Murphy Bridge DOT-CIP Project. Agenda Item #5 was consequently rescheduled for April 2nd on the Consent Calendar until I requested yesterday it be pulled for discussion. Within hours of the posting & receiving the request along with additional info to be publicly posted it was RESCHEDULED AGAIN for 4/23. Hmmmmm...what do you think is going on behind closed doors--Delphi Technique???

Delphi not needed behind closed doors. That's reserved for the public, when behind closed decisions already have been taken.

You're absolutely correct Evelyn about the Delphi Technique reserved for the public. Better to say the BOS is PLANNING behind closed doors to implement more public Delphi meetings in support of their predetermined outcomes.

At the April 3rd Pollock Pines Community Meeting it was mentioned that Supervisor Santiago has on hand (sample?) Community Council applications. I wonder how closely they resemble THIS.
