PPD School Supply Drive starts

The Placerville Police Department has begun their annual School Supply Drive.

The drive, which will end on Aug. 9, asks for donations of pencil boxes filled with items including pencils, erasers, glue sticks, scissors, crayons and tape, a press release stated. These items will be given to Schnell and Sierra schools.

Supplies can be dropped off at the Placerville Police Department at 730 Main St. in Placerville, Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Monetary donations will be accepted by the Placerville Police Officer’s Association, which will use the donations to purchase extra items.
