Defense attorney Dain Weiner, standing in for Adam Weiner, agreed with deputy district attorney Katie Dobler and Judge Douglas C. Phimister on a new pre-preliminary date of July 22 at 1 p.m. A preliminary was kept for Aug. 29 at 8 a.m.
Westly Hampshire is accused of the murder of Matthew Martin Steele on Jan. 16. Hampshire remains in custody without bail.
