Walker-Conroy encouraged county residents to attend the hearing. The planning and funding process for low-income programs will be reviewed, and this is an opportunity to learn about the services that are available to low-income and disabled persons.
Programs in the CAP review include Energy Assistance, Weatherization, Public Housing, Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) and a wide range of support services.
The public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, May 22, from 10:15 to 11 a.m. at the Mother Lode Rehabilitation Enterprises (MORE), 399 Placerville Drive, in Placerville.
Public comment will be incorporated into the planning document.
