A former California Highway Patrol officer has been arrested on suspicion of of receiving stolen goods.
El Dorado County detectives have spent the past few weeks investigating numerous burglaries where firearms have been stolen. The investigation led them to obtaining a warrant for a residence at 4500 Wendsan Lane in Placerville.
At 7 a.m. on Sept. 26, sheriff’s detectives served the search warrant. They contacted former CHP Officer Michael Rupley, whom they allegedly found to be in possession of stolen firearms.
He was subsequently arrested and booked into El Dorado County Jail.
Rupley wrote a CHP column for the Mountain Democrat when he worked in the Placerville CHP office.
Shame on Mr. Rupley, a snake is a snake, recieving stolen property, Guns, he had his own, what a great example of retirement, how does being involved in Crime feel to you now Mr. Mike Rupley, Do you miss Dear Hunting about now?
Another Ray Nutting appointee bites the dust. Rupley as Ray Nuttings appointee to the El Dorado County Veterans Commission serving 17 years did more to delay/distract the construction of our EDC Veterans Monument on Ray’s behalf than any other single person in El Dorado County because the people wanting to build the monument were, “not the right people.”
Hey mike, about time karma finally caught up with you.
