The closure times will be as follows:
• Ramps to U.S. Highway 50: 4 to 8 a.m.
• Mainline U.S. Highway 50: 6 to 8 a.m.
• White Rock Road/Silva Valley Parkway: 5 to 8 a.m.
These closures are necessary to facilitate blasting operations on the south side of U.S. Highway 50 at the county’s Silva Valley Interchange Project. While the closures are in place, both directions of U.S. Highway 50 traffic will be detoured around the closures via El Dorado Hills Boulevard, Serrano Parkway and Bass Lake Road. Motorists are encouraged to take other alternate routes around the area which also bypass the closures. Portable changeable message signs will be placed around the work zone to keep motorists updated on any changes to the timing of the closures.
Questions regarding these temporary closures may be directed to the Aradhana Kochar, the county’s resident engineer for this project, at 916-599-5673 or via e-mail at [email protected]
