By From page A9 | March 22, 2011

In light of several recent arrests of suspected burglars in the greater Placerville and South County areas, the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Department is offering a public viewing for victims hoping to retrieve missing belongings.

Through investigation, hundreds of items of suspected stolen personal property have been recovered. Some of the items recovered include jewelry, jewelry boxes, purses, electronics and some small hand tools.

Any victims of theft related crimes are encouraged to view the recovered property. The Sheriff’s Department asks that victims have their property list and case number available for reference.

The viewing will be Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 471 Pierroz Road, Placerville.
