The Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes replacing the existing bridge, which was built in 1964, with a new bridge constructed with precast and prestressed girder. The project will improve sight distance on Sly Park Road, install sidewalks on each side of Sly Park Road and curb ramps on each side.

The public will be able to view displays of the project, including the proposed new design of the bridge, and ask questions of Caltrans staff on Thursday, June 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pollock Pines-Camino Community Center at 2675 Sanders Drive in Pollock Pines.
